Wexford Manager Davy Fitzgerald “well aware” of Kilkenny challenge awaiting them on Saturday

Davy says it's important they meet the challenge this coming Saturday night head on

Wexford Senior Hurling Manager Davy Fitzgerald is well aware Kilkenny will be determined for revenge having lost to Wexford twice already this year.

Speaking after last Saturday night’s game against Carlow, Davy says it’s important they meet the challenge this coming Saturday night head on.

He said “It’s not how we play, and when we weren’t committed, we are in trouble. When we started just lumping and doing stupid shooting we are in trouble, but when we do things properly we are good”.

“We are playing Kilkenny next, we have beaten them twice this year, how do you think Brian Cody is going to go, he is going to come baying for blood and we have got to meet that head on”.
