Turlough O’Brien says promotion hopes are not over yet for Carlow’s Footballers

Turlough says they will probably need to win their remaining four group games just to have a chance

Carlow Senior Football Manager Turlough O’Brien says their Promotion hopes are not over yet despite losing to Limerick in yesterday’s National Football League clash.

Speaking to KCLR, Turlough says they will probably need to win their remaining four group games just to have a chance of regaining promotion to Division 3.

He said “We probably would need to yeah, but we have to see how results pan out, it’s still open, we are not out of it yet and we will be back training on Tuesday night, we will just see can we refocus now and get ready for the next game”.
