Plenty of local Handballers in action this Saturday

A lot of Kilkenny Schools have representatives

There are a whole host of Kilkenny Schools represented in the Semi-Finals of the 40 x 20 All-Ireland Colleges Handball Championships which takes place in Kingscourt Co. Cavan on Saturday morning

If victorious, the competitors will be involved in All-Ireland Final action later in the day on Saturday, and speaking to KCLR, Fixtures Event Officer of Handball Ireland Austin McKenna outlines which Kilkenny Schools are involved.

“Castlecomer Community School, they have three representatives while Grennan College of Thomastown have two representatives.

“St. Kierans College, they have a representative in the Boys Senior Singles in Eoin Brennan.

“Kilkenny CBS have Billy Brennan of Kilkenny Handball in one of the grades.

“St. Brigids of Callan, they have one representative as well as Colaiste Mhuire of Johnstown,” he said.
