Palatine’s O’Neill looking forward to u21 clash with Eire Og

The sides meet on Saturday

Palatine Under-21 Football player Shane O’Neill says it’s always close anytime they play neighbors Eire Og.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of Saturday evening’s Under-21 Football Semi-Final, Shane says there is a good healthy rivalry between both clubs.

“Ah yeah, we are looking forward to the game, we know the challenge that Eire Og are going to bring, they are a good side.

“We have met them a good few times, so we know what they are like but I think we are fairly ready to go again I suppose.

“It’s always going to be close and even just the rivalry that there is between Pal and Eire Og there is just always never going to be much in it and I suppose we respect them and they respect us.

“We are two good footballing clubs and looking forward to playing each other,” he said.

Throw in is at 6pm Saturday in Netwatch Cullen Park.
