Moving National League to earlier start shows disrespect towards the Fitzgibbon Cup – Colm Bonnar

The Carlow hurling manager is not happy with the competitions overlapping

Carlow Senior Hurling Manager Colm Bonnar says that the GAA moving the start of National League earlier is showing disrespect towards the Fitzgibbon Cup competition.

The Fitzgibbon Cup Semi-Finals are scheduled to take place in DCU this afternoon(Saturday).

IT Carlow in the first of the Semi-Finals at 2pm against Mary Immaculate of Limerick, and Colm who is involved with Waterford IT told KCLR that starting the National Leagues earlier is creating a greater workload for younger players.
