Kilkenny’s Aoibhe Richardson selected on Irish Cross Country side for European Championships

A team of 39 athletes will head for Tilburg

Kilkenny’s Aoibhe Richardson has been selected to represent Ireland.

The Kilkenny City Harriers Athlete will feature on the womens u23 side for the European Cross Country Championships.

Her selection comes after showing fine form on the NCAA cross country format while representing Portland Pilots.

Ireland will send a team of 39 athletes to next month’s Championships in Tilburg.

Ciara Mageean and Kevin Dooney will lead the women’s and men’s sides following respective wins in this past weekend’s National Cross Country Championships in Abbotstown.

They’ll lead their respective teams of six on December 9th.
