Kilkenny Volleyball International aiming for European Championships

Benny O’Regan says their ultimate aim would be to compete in the European Beach Volleyball Championships against the top European Nations.

Benny who is from Kilkenny is on his way to Perth in Scotland to compete for Ireland in an International Beach Volleyball Tournament for smaller Nations this weekend, and speaking to KCLR, Benny says if they climb the steps up the ladder, anything is possible…..

“Yeah, European Championships next year, it would be a great goal. It’s a big mountain to climb so we are only at the bottom as it is”

“So as long as we can keep climbing the steps you never know or how far we could progress. Hopefully we are taking on the proper professionals and not the amateurs or the semi-professionals”

“Start at the bottom and so long as you give the performance, hopefully the result will take care of itself so that’s all I will be looking for is just 100% and no regrets left on court”
