Kilkenny Seniors are as good as anyone despite Leinster Final defeat says DJ Carey

Kilkenny Under-20 Manager DJ Carey says that the Kilkenny Seniors are as good as anyone around despite the Leinster Final defeat to Wexford.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s All-Ireland Quarter-Final clash against Cork, DJ says if Kilkenny are very capable if they can get the bit of luck required.

He said “There is a second chance to redeem. I don’t think we were a million miles away”.

“Wexford are in an All-Ireland Semi-Final and Kilkenny still have a chance of been there, still have a chance of been in the All-Ireland Final and still have a chance of winning it, and we would believe that we still are up there with some of the best players in the country and all going right on any particular day we can certainly be there or thereabouts”.
