Kilkenny rugby hoping to repeat Coolmine performance levels to beat Longford

Kilkenny Rugby Club Head Coach Packie Henebry says they have a great chance of defeating Longford on Sunday if they reproduce their performance from last Sunday against Coolmine.

Speaking to KCLR, Packie is hoping that Tullow’s opponents on Sunday will do them a favour…..

“Yeah, we are away to Longford. Another tough one. Longford are flying it at the moment and they actually beat us down here in Kilkenny a couple of weeks ago and we were very disappointed in that one”

“They actually scored a try in the last few seconds of the match but look we are going up there, everybody is fit, We are waiting on Wes Carter”

“He has a broken thumb, waiting for him to come back, everybody is fit and if we put in a performance like we did (last Sunday) we will be right in the hunt then and again depending on results, hoping someone will beat Tullow”
