Kilkenny Rugby Club looking for a Head Coach for upcoming season

The side compete in Division 1A of the Leinster League

Kilkenny RFC is looking for a Head Coach for upcoming season Head Coach for the upcoming 2019/20 season.

They currently have three adult men’s teams and will be competing in Division 1A of the Leinster League in the 2019/20 season.

The club have also qualified for the 2019/20 All Ireland Junior Cup.

The club have advertised the following for the role….

Minimum of IRFU Stage 3 (or equivalent)

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for Senior squad training, developing game plans and overall performance.
Player recruitment for Senior squads.
Work closely alongside the other club coaches, medical and S&C staff.
Develop and encourage high performance culture within the senior squads.
Conduct regular reviews with coaching teams and Director of Rugby.

Stephen Byrne is the Head of Sport and News in KCLR96FM. He's an avid rugby fan and can be seen frequenting Leinster and local clubs games. He loves his GAA too and is a former hurler and footballer and stood between the posts for his home club of Kiltegan for many years.
