Kilkenny man takes part in International Beach Volleyball tournament in Co. Meath

Benny O'Regan participated in the Tournament itself which took place on the June Bank Holiday weekend

Kilkenny Native Benny O’Regan says that having a recent International Tournament in Bettystown Co. Meath took place to encourage and promote Beach Volleyball in the smaller Nations.

Benny participated in the Tournament itself which took place on the June Bank Holiday weekend, and he told KCLR that the Tournament is a starting point to help smaller nations to develop.

“That’s one of the reasons why this tournament was held in Ireland. They wanted to get countries that are most unknown to Beach Volleyball to be able to have a starting point and to be able to have a starting point, to be able to push it and display it and promote it as much as they can within their own nations”.
