Kilkenny lose out to Wexford in Walsh Cup Semi Final

The cats were playing their first intercounty game of the season

Wexford proved too strong for Brian Cody’s men as Kilkenny lost out 2-18 to 1-9 in the Walsh Cup semi final in Callan yesterday afternoon.

Once Wexford got their first goal, the pushed on and lead 0-5 to 1-8 at the break.

Kilkenny started the second half well with Eoin Murphy getting a goal from a penalty,

However Wexford kept up the pace and went on to win.
