Kilkenny City Harriers Athlete Cliodhna Manning says her speed has taken the biggest hit after she was ruled out injured in recent weeks.

Cliodhna will miss this weekends National Senior Indoors as she continues her recuperation and speaking to KCLR on Sunday Scoreline, she says it’s important to recovery properly to regain full fitness…..

“You want to get back running but like you can’t, you have to come back slowly so it’s been 4 weeks now and I am back running I can say thankfully”

“Hopefully, I will run again next week. Well I have been doing Gym and then I was doing like bike sessions to keep fit and to keep sane as well”

“Yeah, you would you would go back running and you would be like geeny mac breathing really heavily, but then probably my speed has probably taken the biggest hit. I should be doing indoors as well”
