IT Carlow are up against the Tolka Rovers on Saturday

IT Carlow Basketball Head Coach Martin Conroy says they are going to be very hard to beat as the Mens Team go in search of reaching the Presidents Cup Final in Cork on Saturday.

IT Carlow are up against the Tolka Rovers, Martin has full confidence with the quality of players within their squad.

“We have a couple of injuries there that haven’t helped. We haven’t had the full squad together since the first game of the season”

“The guys they are a great group, we have got James Butler and Julian O’Keeffe and Brian Hogan and then we have like our mainstays, we have Aaron Whelan, big Dan the Boz, and we have a fantastic American there in Johnny McCarthy who is just ticking all the boxes, a scorer, he’s a fantastic defender, he’s a great rebounder, so we are going to be very hard to beat this weekend, we are very hopeful of getting win and looking forward to that final at the end of January where we want to be”
