Goals and killing off teams has been a major factor in our success says Tullaroan’s Shane Walsh

Tullaroan Intermediate Forward Shane Walsh says that going for goals and killing off teams has been a major feature in their success in enabling them to get to an All-Ireland Club Final.

Tullaroan play Fr. O’Neills in Saturday evening’s All-Ireland Intermediate decider, and speaking after last weekends All-Ireland Semi-Final victory, Shane says that the younger Tommy Walsh who will be playing Full-Back on Saturday will definitely be on the Inter-County Senior Team.

He said “Since the Championship we have been really going for them and you can really see there, to kill off teams if you can get them, so hopefully get a few now the next day now again”.

“You can be sure that lad now will be on the Kilkenny Team without a doubt like, the games he is after putting in for Tullaroan this year and he is after marking Inter-County forwards and he is still hurling up a stick”.
