Former Carlow hurler says they could have beaten Galway and are prepared for Kilkenny

Pat Coady says Carlow will work on improvements for Sundays match against Kilkenny

Former Carlow hurler Pat Coady says the side feel they can stay with the big teams and have the potential to beat them.

Pat says they were very disappointed losing to Galway and can improve from that performance….

He told KCLR Sport “I hope that Kilkenny come to town and we give them a good show, Galway would have taken Carlow slightly for granted and you could see that in their play and once they got that in their heads, it was hard to get out of it”.

“With a bit more tidiness in the Carlow team, I’d say that game could have been won and I think they’ll work on it for next Sunday”.
