Former Carlow goalkeeper praises Jordan Morrissey for his attitude to the game

John Kearns says Jordan Morrissey is a very level headed young player who keeps his feet firmly on the ground

Former Eire Og and Carlow Senior Football goalkeeper John Kearns says Jordan Morrissey is a very level headed young player who keeps his feet firmly on the ground.

Jordan will start at right-half-back for the County Senior’s Round 2 National League clash in Westmeath today (Saturday) and speaking to KCLR, John says that Jordan has a top class attitude.

He said “He is one of these kind of players that even at underage was always one of the stand out players”.

“He’s a good lad too, his head is firmly fixed on his shoulders, he is well rooted to the ground, a very very good lad all round, his attitude is top class too and listen he’s a quite lad all round, he just gets on with the job in hand and at the moment he is playing very very well for both club and county” said John.

We have live commentary of the game against Westmeath on air and online.
