Eire Og’s panel in a strong place ahead of Leinster Championship says Eoghan Ruth

Eoghan says that the quality of training has improved the squad immensely

Eire Og Senior Footballer Eoghan Ruth says the strengthening of their panel augurs well going forward as they get ready to play their Leinster Championship opener in the coming weeks.

Speaking to KCLR after last Sunday’s County Final trouncing of Palatine, Eoghan says that the quality of training has improved the squad immensely.

He said “Compared to last year, we added on a few more and there is a lovely panel there, and we can play 15 on 15 in training and the tempo is rapid and it just brings everyone on so we are very lucky to have it”.

“Hopefully we will stay building on it, and it won’t be the same thing next year. We might lose a couple, we might get a couple in but as long as we are building, things are good”.
