Carlows Ed Byrne learning a lot from Cian Healy and Jack McGrath in Leinster

Leinster Rugby Prop Carlows Ed Byrne says he has learned a lot from training and playing with internationals Jack McGrath and Cian Healy.

He and his brother Bryan have been getting a lot of game time with the Senior Squad recently.

Speaking to KCLR, Ed is delighted with the progression he has made…..

“Nice to get a few games over the Christmas now. It was a busy enough period for us, but thankfully it all went well”

“No, it’s great, I learned a lot from both Jack and Cian who are very helpful as well so I learned a lot over the last few years and it’s great to get the opportunity to come on”

“Thankfully, Leo likes giving the front row a bit of game time off the bench so it’s nice to get a bit of game time and certainly learning from the lads is I think helping me a lot as well, so I think anytime you play for Leinster is a massive privilege no matter you who are coming on for so I am delighted with how things are going on the minute”
