Carlow man Steve Lennon makes it all the way to Dutch Masters Final against MVG

Steve took on the games best player in the decider

Carlow man Steve Lennon made serious inroads at the Dutch Darts Masters over the weekend.

After a third round win over James Richardson, Lennon beat Premier League player Mensur Suljovic 6-3 in the Quarter Finals and followed it up with a 7-5 win over former Premier League player Kim Huybrechts.

He then took on World Number 1 Michael Van Gerwen in the Final but just lost out 8-5 in the end.

Steve is still in his early twenties and is set for a big future in the PDC.
