Carlow man Eric Molloy nets equaliser for Bohemians against Frank Lampards Chelsea

Eric is on trial with the Irish club

Carlow man Eric Molloy scored the equaliser as Bohemians drew 1-1 with Chelsea at Dalymount park last night in Frank Lampard’s first game in charge.

Frank Lampard’s coaching debut for Chelsea has ended in a shock draw thanks to a last-minute goal scored by the trialist who spent the past three years playing in New Zealand.

Eric spent two seasons with ISPS Handa Premiership side Team Wellington and one with Southern United.

The Carlow man featured at the Club World Cup during his two-year stint with Wellington.
