Carlow Football selector says they “wont fear anybody now” as championship continues this weekend

Carlow Senior Football selector Tommy Wogan says they will relish the opportunity of playing one of the top teams in the Country.

Carlow host Monaghan in Netwatch Cullen Park on Saturday evening, and speaking to KCLR after Saturday’s victory over Leitrim, Tommy says they have proven themselves against strong counties….

“These lads now are in such a good place at the moment, they won’t fear anybody now”

“I mean this crop of lads have played Cavan in Championship, we have played Armagh in practice games, we have played Clare in practice games, we have played some strong counties in games and we have held our own with them so these lads won’t fear anybody”

“They will relish an opportunity to play a top team and I think it could even bring the best out of them”
