Brian Cody says next weekends clash against Wexford will have a “knockout feel” to it

Kilkenny and Wexford need a result in the game

Kilkenny Senior Hurling Manager Brian Cody says next Saturday evening’s clash between Wexford and Kilkenny will be intriguing as both teams need a result.

Speaking after Sunday’s defeat against Galway, Brian says the Wexford game will have a knockout feel.

“All hurlers are well used to playing knockout hurling and Championship hurling and it’s a great thing to be looking forward to.

“It’s Round Robin, we have won two matches up to this, we lost today and we are going to the last game and of course both teams will want to win and that makes it really really something to look forward to”
