Blacks and Whites hurler says they want to be playing the big teams early on in the season

Marty Kelly says it stands to the team as good preparation for the Championship

Blacks and Whites Junior Hurler Marty Kelly says you want to play the bigger teams as early as possible in the Championship.

Marty says playing the bigger teams early will stand well as preparation for the Championship.

He said “We are as fully prepared as well as you can be for this time of the year, all good, training hard anyway as good and all so a whole new approach, just one person is the same, a selector the same, a new management, and new trainers so it’s good to mix it up too”.

“The two groups (Junior) are fairly even I think, you want to play the bigger teams and get in the big games as early as you can and get yourself up for the Championship season”.
