It’s a double nomination for football in Kilkenny this month as the Kilkenny men’s junior footballers regained the British Junior Championship crown they claimed two seasons ago. Unlucky in defeat at the All-Ireland semi-final stages at Nowlan Park in July, all those involved in the football setup continue to do their part in helping to grow the sport in Kilkenny.
