Evergreen Player-manager Packie Holden says revenge is never on their minds.
Evergreen will attempt to regain the KCLR McCalmont Cup having lost to their opponents Thomastown United in last years Final, and Packie told KCLR their is no extra motivation to win back the cup.
“Revenge is never in our minds. It’s about going out and putting in the best performance”
“Obviously we were bitterly disappointed to lose in the fashion that we did last year”
“Having a controversial goal disallowed a couple of minutes to go in extra-time but revenge is never on our minds. We will focus on ourselves and give Thomastown their due respects”
“They are a fine team over the last three four years, they have been pushing us hard in every competition so we will expect a really tough game on Saturday night”
