O’Loughlin Gaels Junior Coach Maurice Nolan says the younger players within the Junior Team are after gaining plenty of experience.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Saturday’s County Junior Final against John Lockes Callan, Maurice says they are under no illusions of the challenge ahead against an experienced outfit.
“When they are going down to Nowlan Park on a big day, it’s hard to know how they are going to perform and how they are going to take to the occasion. It’s another big day again on Saturday and a lot of them young lads are after gaining a bit of experience under their belts so it’s all systems go.
“For John Lockes themselves, they probably felt they didn’t do themselves justice last year in the final and they will be out to avenge that. They have a wealth of experience throughout the field, they have a couple of McGrath’s there in the back.
“Jason Corcoran would have plenty of experience with Kilkenny Underage and they have great experience in their forwards as well so we are under no illusions of the task that lies ahead,” he said.
