O’Loughlin Gaels senior hurling manager Aidan Fogarty says you must be 100% for any game in the St. Canice’s Credit Union Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of their opening round fixture against St. Martins on Sunday, Fogarty says that any team can take advantage if your not up to scratch.

“I have been saying for the number of years that I have been down here in Kilkenny, it’s the hardest Championship to win. There are 12 teams in the Senior Championship. On any given day, if your not up to the mark, you are likely to get beaten and that happens every year, that there is always maybe one or two surprises. That’s the way it is, that you must be 100% every day or else you are under a lot of pressure.”
