“O’Loughlin Gaels are in poll position in this group and, with a scoring difference of +33, even a loss in their final game with Erins Own is unlikely to deprive them of a top two finish in this group and an automatic quarter-final spot. The only other certainty here is that St Martins, who are pointless to date, will prop up the table. The other 4 teams – Erins Own (5), Carrickshock (5), Mullinavat (4) and Rower Inistioge (3) have it all to play for and scoring difference may well come in to play to sort out the positions especially considering Rower Inistioge have had three draws in their campaign. The twitter machine will be in overdrive in this group on Tuesday evening.”
“Clara and Dicksboro play for bragging rights in Thomastown as both are assured of automatic quarter-final positions. But the rest of the table is extremely interesting with just one point separating the other four. It will be a case of “winner takes all” in the remaining games as teams try to avoid the dreaded 5th and 6th “Relegation” positions in the table. Bennettsbridge (2) will be attempting to leap frog Ballyhale Shamrocks (3) in Callan and James Stephens (2) attempting to do likewise over Danesfort (3) in Kilmanagh. It all makes for an intriguing evening’s hurling.”
Danesfort and James Stephens is available exclusively live on KCLRFanzone.com with a 6.45pm throw-in time.
