Kilkenny Youths Inter-League manager James Kelly says they will take a draw in tomorrow’s clash against Wexford in New Ross.
Speaking to KCLR, James says the squad has had to be narrowed following a trialing match……
“Yeah, preparations are good. We formed up two weeks ago, numbers were good”
“We had 33 for the trials so we had to break it down to a trialing match. We took on Freebooters Under-19s and there was great response so started from there and had to make the squad. I announced the squad at the start of the week and we trained there on Monday”
“Things are good, lads are looking forward to it. We are hoping to do better now this year. I know we are away to Wexford, but we are hoping to get some kind of result, mainly the win, but we will take a draw if it comes down to it”
