Evergreen manager Packie Holden admits it wasn’t ideal that their scheduled game last weekend was cancelled.
However, speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s FAI Junior Cup Quarter-Final, Packie says he is happy with how preparations have gone.
“Preparations have been alright. Obviously lets say with games called off the weekend, it wasn’t ideal. We would have liked to have played a really good game the weekend which unfortunately, we didn’t get to do against Freebooters, but sure we are fighting fit and we will go into it, do our best.
“It’s never a problem that way(training) so we haven’t missed any training sessions or anything like that but training isn’t a replacement for competitive fixtures so we are happy with the way we are now,we have a couple of knocks but we will get over that”
