Erins Own Bagenalstown Junior Hurling Manager James Whelan says having a full squad available has helped greatly in reaching a County Final on Sunday.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s showdown with Palatine, James says they are hoping that victory on Sunday would act as a stepping stone towards future success.
“The only game we lost really in the League part of it was against Palatine. It was just one of them bad nights. We had a great win now against Myshall and a great win against Burren Rangers and Teams like that.
“We are only building all year but we have some great hurlers who actually kind of gave up, and hadn’t time or different things in their life of course, but they are all coming back now and hopefully we can do it on Sunday and maybe we can build on it next year again for Intermediate again hopefully,” he said.
